The “Farming practices” sustainability feature highlights products that are made with materials harvested from responsibly managed farms as verified by the following certifications:
AIAB certifies organic products that are grown without the use of chemical pesticides and made by Italian companies.
Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certifies seafood products based on responsible farming practices aimed at protecting ocean environments, providing good working conditions, and maintaining high standards for fish welfare.
Bioland certifies food producers and processers who meet strict requirements for cultivation, animal husbandry and products which go beyond the EU requirements for organic products.
COSMOS Organic by Soil Association certifies beauty care products according to the international COSMOS standard and meets the required percentages of organic ingredients.
Fair for Life certified products are produced responsibly by implementing transparent economic, social and environmental practices.
The Fair Rubber Association certifies rubber products based on a set of criteria for fairly traded natural rubber focused on worker welfare, health and safety, fair trade standards, harvest practices, pesticide use, waste, and biodiversity.
Fair Trade Certified certifies food products based on fair trade standards that promote safe working conditions, environment protections and strong, transparent supply chains.
Fair Trade Certified Ingredient certifies products containing ingredients that are certified based on standards that promote safe and transparent working conditions, environmental protections, and Fair Trade Premiums
Fairtrade International certifies food products based on ethical and environmental standards, which make environmental protection an integral part of farming.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certifies clothing and home products based on standards for the processing of clothing and home materials made with organic fiber. GOTS certified products contain a minimum of 70% organic fibers.
Orgánico México is a seal granted by the Mexican government to agricultural and food products that meet rigorous organic production standards.
Rainforest Alliance certifies consumer products based on more sustainable, climate-smart farming practices that protect natural resources and the environment based on land, water, and energy use.
Regenagri certified products are produced using regenerative farming practices with the goal to improve soil health, promote biodiversity, lower emissions, and support farmers.
Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) certifies food, textiles and personal care ingredients based on standards for soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness.
Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certifies animal welfare and land management practices in wool production. Products containing wool are tracked from farm to final product. A product must contain at least 50% certified RWS material to qualify for Climate Pledge Friendly.
Soil Association certifies organic products and is a Certification Body for the COSMOS-standard, which ensures products are genuine organic or natural cosmetics.
The U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol promotes farmers’ use of environmentally and socially responsible practices in growing more sustainable cotton. Through their digitally enabled supply chain solution, U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol tracks cotton from yarn spinning to finished goods, ensuring only Trust Protocol eligible cotton materials are used.
