How products qualify

Products are eligible for Climate Pledge Friendly when they meet standards from at least one recognized third-party certification, including standards related to sourcing, manufacturing, or use.
For manufacturers, here’s how it works:

Get certified
Choose one or more certifications recognized by Climate Pledge Friendly, contact the certifying organization, and complete their requirements to become certified.

Verify eligibility
Once certified, work directly with the certifying organization to ensure certification documentation is provided for Climate Pledge Friendly validation. Additional Climate Pledge Friendly requirements may apply.

Display sustainability features
When eligible, the leaf icon and sustainability features may appear on qualifying products on Amazon.com and participating stores through Buy with Prime.
Reach customers with intent
Sustainability features support discovery of products that meet standards from at least one recognized third-party certification and help customers make choices that align with their values.
